Across- the- Marsh Cottage

Small, unique cottage in a quiet neighborhood on an old road near the marshes and bays in Kitty Hawk, NC. ( The cottage is across the street from the mailbox.) The cottage is tucked away on the backside of the barrier island; however, we are close to the beach and centrally located to most of the towns along the Outer Banks. This is a NON-SMOKING property. All towels and linens are provided and I do not charge a cleaning fee . Please have positive prior reviews and be at least 26 years old. The space Very unique area of Kitty Hawk. Wide open views of the muddy marsh and pine hammocks against the westward sunsets . The sound waters are across the street . Pine paneled cottage with all the furnishings you will need to make yourself at home . The downstairs has a small kitchen with a dining and laundry area. Upstairs has the living area , bath room ( no tub ) and large bedroom with king bed . The upstairs deck and side patio give you a chance to sit and enjoy the quiet, except with the occasional interruption of an eerie ole "hoot owl" . It is s very private area. You may have to share the outdoors with a few insects in the summer and a herd of deer roam the ridge year around. Be careful of the deer if you drive in at night. Wireless Internet and cable tv are provided. The wireless password is on the router. ALSO, please be advised that there is not a dishwasher in the kitchen. There is only a shower in the bathroom , not a tub. The living room and bedroom are upstairs. The dining , small kitchen, and laundry are downstairs. Check out details: I do not charge my guests a cleaning fee, so I ask that you just leave the cottage, somewhat, neat and tidy. I do not expect you to clean it , but please be considerate. I will take any of your recycling to our local center. Please put any other trash in the outside can upon departure and clean any leftover dishes. Enjoy your stay . Guest access This is a completely separate cottage . It is directly across the street from designated address and the mailbox with house numbers. There is a small front yard and south side patio and open space to the north and west . You have a private entrance. A key will be available to you so that you can access the cottage at any time on your arrival. Other things to note There is an attached garage with some beach chairs and umbrella The thermostat is upstairs in the bedroom. Front door outside light switch and entry light is behind the swing of the front door. ( sorry about the inconvenience) If you want a grill at the cottage , please let me know.
