The space This beautiful cottage is in a QUIET, SAFE, and FRIENDLY neighborhood on a dead end street with kind neighbors just off the WINCHESTER SQUARE (10-12 minute walk) and 1 mile from Twin Creeks Marina and the beautiful TIM'S FORD LAKE. Don't be surprised if the neighbors say hello as Winchester is a very friendly place. Don't miss the great restaurants and shops on the square or the Oldham Theater where you can watch a picture show/movie! (Did I just say Picture Show??) This home was completely remodeled in the summer of 2024 and it has a balance of historic 1940's character and decor while also the modern conveniences that we all love in a home. You will love the original hardwoods that squeak a little when you walk them (the stories they could tell) and the beautiful solid wood original interior doors to the home that were salvaged throughout the home. It still has its original cast iron tub. There is a brand new Central Heating/Cooling System in the home to make sure you can set a comfy temperature for your stay. The cottage boasts 2 BEDROOMS and 1 BATH. Bedroom 1- King Bed (sleeps 2) Bedroom 2- Bunk Beds and Queen Bed (Sleeps 4) Both bedrooms are decorated in the 1940's style but yet the master has nightstands which feature USB plugs for all of your devices to charge and smart TVs for your enjoyment. The fully furnished and remodeled KITCHEN has granite countertops, stainless appliances (Fridge/Freezer/Ice Maker, Glass Top Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave), floating shelves and a washer dryer combo unit. (Note: The washer/dryer combo unit is only for very small loads of laundry.) There is also a table set for 4 people to enjoy a southern meal together. The LIVING room is furnished with a comfy couch and era specific rocking chair along with a large flat screen SMART TV for your enjoyment so you can log into your streaming service (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+) included in living room only. WIFI is available throughout the cottage. The bathroom is an ELEGANT 1940's BATH featuring shiplap and a cute vanity for your pampering and an original cast iron tub which was restored to its original look. The home also has a 12x12 DECK with string lights which will set the stage for you to enjoy the wonderful Tennessee weather and relax with a glass of your favorite drink while featuring your grilling skills on the GAS GRILL and enjoy a relaxing evening.
