The space This super cozy, post and beam cottage is a perfect New England getaway for a couple or a couple traveling with up to two older child or additional adults. * There is a new and comfortable king-size bed in the loft bedroom, plus a couch that folds out to a twin bed and a roll away cot. The house features a well-equipped kitchen, a large loft-style bedroom accessed by stairs with a king-sized bed, two separate work stations , two big-screen tvs, a dining area and living room. The living room has a sofa bed that coverts to a twin size bed and there is a roll-away cot to comfortably accommodate up to four people. As a bonus, the house has a large 3-Season screened in porch that stays comfortable during warmer days and a picnic area with umbrella. Two large Fire/Smart TVs-one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The yard is quite large-enjoy the picnic area and umbrella. Outdoor opportunities about-enjoy snowshoeing, mountain or road biking. road or trail running and cross-country skiing. ,In fact, there is an abundance of dirt roads and trails throughout the entire area. There is a lovely creek just inside the woods that you can follow to Ted's Trail or you can take the car the short 1.1 mile drive to the actual trailhead. This classic New England trail takes you you to the top of North Pack Monadnock where you can join the iconic Wapack Trail, Carolyn's Trail, and the Cliff Trail. You can go all the way to Connecticut by trails if you really want to! The northern terminus to the Wapack Trail is just 2.5 miles away by car. Beautifully constructed post & beam, please note that the house may not be a good choice for those with mobility concerns or children as you must use stairs to access the house. There are also curved & irregular stairs to the loft bedroom. The bathroom is on the main floor so you will need to go down the stairs to access it from the bedroom. The only bedroom is in the loft and has a new king size bed. The sofa in the living room folds flat to make a twin sized bed. There is also a rollaway twin cot to make room for a fourth guest. There is a window air conditioner in the loft bedroom. There are also ceiling fans in the bedroom and in the enclosed sun porch. There is also a portable Vornado fan you can move to where you would like it on hot days.
