Wood: to be ordered on request Jacuzzi: included May - September / paid October - April The space On the ground floor, the property has: - a large dining area, - a fully equipped kitchen with an American-style fridge - a back-of-house area ideal for storing your belongings - a toilet On the 1st floor: - 1 large living room with TV - 1 drawing area for children - 1 large bathroom with washer and dryer - 1 small bathroom - 1 toilet - 3 bedrooms with a queen-size bed - 1 bedroom with a single bed and 1 extra bed - 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and 1 sofa bed - 1 walkway that gives access to the rear of the property So, to be clear, the accommodation is ideal for 8 to 11 people. Outside: - 1 private 6-car parking area - 1 garage for storing bikes (upon request) + equipment for cleaning them - 1 covered outdoor jacuzzi - 1 brazier area (wood provided upon request) - 1 terrace with 1 table for 11 people - 1 playground (please note that the playground is 20 meters from the terrace, but is fully fenced and overlooks the forest behind) - Hot tub: included from May to September/paid on request from October to April - Fire pit and wood-burning stove: €10 for 1 box of wood (with kindling, firewood and firelighters) The garden overlooks a forest at the back and a road at the front. Although we are in a cul-de-sac in the countryside, a few vehicles may pass by during the day, but the speed limit is low, and everyone knows each other and drives slowly, being careful around children. A small stream runs next to the cottage and flows into a large stream 100 meters further on, right next to a long bike path that offers wonderful rides. Due to issues with pets, we only accept pets UPON REQUEST! Please discuss this before booking if you'd like to bring your dogs or other pets! Finally, we would like to remind you of the importance of respecting the neighborhood in this quiet and natural place. Parties and noise are prohibited. We will be vigilant, as will the neighbors, who want the peace and quiet of the neighborhood to be respected. Guest access The gîte is located in the lower part of the village of Hollange. Once you pass the center of the village, you go down the road and take the road on your right at the Y. You drive and the gîte is towards the end of the small country road in cul-de-sac on the left of the road. The gîte has a large private stone parking lot, where you can park up to 8 cars without problems. You can unload your luggage directly on our paved driveway. Other things to note We specify that our gîte is an old traditional Ardennes house, with a fairly low kitchen, multiple volumes distributed differently than a traditional modern house. In addition, although the exteriors are, in our opinion, ideal for families with children, there is a road and a stream at a distance that require supervision on your part.
