The single-family home is centrally located in a quiet area with a short distance to Oslo (30 min by train). The single-family home is from 1957, but has received some upgrades over the years. Eidsvollbygningen 1814 is located 300 meters away on the street where you can get a tour and see where the Eidsvollsmen wrote Norway's constitution in 1814. With 3 minutes by bus you are at Eidsvoll Verk station where you can take regional trains to Oslo. It takes 6 minutes by train to Oslo Airport Gardermoen, 15 minutes to Lillestrøm and 30 minutes to Oslo. The space The property is located in a small residential area with 13 houses. The property has a large garden and a large parking space for up to 6 cars. It's lovely to sit in the pergola with a fire in the outdoor fireplace and candles on the table while eating a nice meal. Feel free to use the pizza oven and gas grill. Firewood is also provided for the outdoor fireplace. Enjoy your stay :) Guest access You can use the entire place except for storage rooms in the basement and garage with associated storage rooms. These are locked. Other things to note The location of the home is a 4-minute walk from Eidsvoll Verk bus stop. From there you can take bus 430 to Eidsvoll Verk train station. The bus runs 5 minutes past every hour and 5 minutes past every half hour until 11:25 pm. The bus takes 3 minutes to Eidsvoll Verk train station. If you are going home from the train station and to Eidsvoll Verk, you take bus 430 that runs every hour, 15 minutes past the hour, 30 minutes past the hour, 45 minutes past the hour. The accommodation is 400 meters from Eidsvoll 1814 (Eidsvoll building). Here are opening hours from 11-15 Tuesday to Friday. Then you can get a tour and see where the Eidsvoll men wrote the Constitution. There are nice hiking areas around the Eidsvoll building. Grocery stores: Rema 1000, Spar, Kiwi are located in Råholt which is about 3 km from the house. There is also a large shopping center with many stores in Råholt.
