Other things to note In accordance with the country's tax laws, all Argentine citizens and foreigners residing in the country must pay an additional 21% VAT. Only foreigners who pay with a foreign credit card, debit card, or bank transfer are exempt from this additional 21% (VAT) on bed and breakfast. To do this, they must present a foreign passport or a foreign identity document, together with a document issued by the national migration authorities (if applicable).
