The House on the Rock

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Old typical Savoyard house, set on a rock. Close to everything, while remaining in a haven of tranquility and nature The house on the rock offers you a large living room with fireplace, a living room with fireplace as well, a bedroom on the ground floor and upstairs a second bedroom and then a third in a row. Finally, a studio with a separate entrance offers four additional beds on the second floor. The space The house is set on a rock located in the living room You will enter the living room directly through a door that is several centuries old. You can enjoy an open, well-equipped kitchen and a large antique table ready to welcome you for superb meals by the fire. Next to the living room with its Savoyard decoration, you will be welcomed for a relaxing evening (some games and books available) in front of a beautiful fireplace after a day spent in our mountains. The boudoir area available on the mezzanine is ideal for relaxing quietly. Below a first bedroom consisting of a bed and a small bathroom and toilet in an old barn Upstairs (above the living room) a second bedroom followed by a third in a row A bathroom and separate toilet. ‼️Be careful in this house ‼️ - The floors crack - Ceilings are more or less high in some places - Sometimes the chimneys can backfire. Bathroom with toilet And storage for your belongings ATTENTION: SHEETS AND BATH TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED FOR STAYS OF LESS THAN 6 NIGHTS Possibility of renting them for short stays €25/double bed €19/single bed Quiet and family-friendly place of about 180 m2 About 10 minutes (free shuttle in front of the house) from the resort of Courchevel le Praz, and 5 minutes from Bozel (location of all shops and medical office) In summer and winter the house is ideally located for those who love calm and authenticity. Close to everything, both for hiking and the ski resort! The Vanoise Park is about 20 minutes away A free shuttle stops in front of the accommodation and allows you to access the ski lifts of Praz and Courchevel 1850 without taking the car. In both winter and summer, this playground offers dozens of activities: Hiking, climbing, golf, tennis, paddle, via ferrata, swimming, rafting, mushroom picking, mountaineering, paragliding, skiing, snowshoeing, sports complex, spa, sled dogs, horse, parachute, etc. Tourist offices in Bozel and Courchevel Garden with barbecue available just across the house at the bottom. Free parking on site Infants up to 8 years old are not allowed in the studio because of the many stairs/steps and the layout of the studio (risk of falls) This is a family vacation home that we care about a lot We ask for respect for the accommodation and the external environment (calm and kindness with the neighborhood) We only accept guests with positive reviews *** Winter departures on Saturday or Sunday are between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. maximum unless there is no arrival on the same day. I strongly advise you to avoid arrivals and departures on Saturdays in winter, as the road network is often more than saturated in the valley (Chambéry, Albertville, Moutiers). Guest access The entire home is available for your use as well as the garden located below. Other things to note This house is not suitable for infants and children under 6/7 years of age. The studio does not accommodate children under 8 years of age. Many steps everywhere, no ramps, hatches around the stairs, most a little steep.
