This is the perfect couple retreat. Fish, use the paddle boat or bring your kayak, great birding and photo opportunities. Slow down and relax and reconnect with nature and each other. This is a simple cabin. Clean, comfortable and great views from every window. It is raised so there are stairs inside and out. Once upstairs you feel like you are staying in a tree house. There is currently no internet available. The space The cabin is raised so there is a great view from every window. There are 2 docks to choose from and water all around the property. It's located on a dead-end road to so no real traffic to disturb guests. Stairs to the loft are custom so the step is higher than expected and are narrow. There is no washer or dryer on property. Apparently, the listing does not show that the cabin has hot water but it does. This is a fully functioning very basic living space. No frills just birds and frogs and fireflies and fish and rabbits and ducks and water and sky and peace and so much more. Guest access The kitchen, living room and bathroom are on the main floor. The bedroom is upstairs and please note that the stairs are solid but steep. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked. If there is something that you need the Dollar General and gas station 5 miles down the road on 787. Bringing a side by side? There is access to the Trinity River a couple of miles down the road. There is a large sandbar, and it can be a fun place to spend the day. Lots of folks take umbrellas and lawn chairs and sit in the river and listen to music and hang out.
