Cedar Crest Cabin | Cozy Stay near Yosemite!

Welcome to Cedar Crest Cabin! Our mountain home is just 12 miles from the south gate of Yosemite and the beautiful Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. It is also a short 10-minute drive into the town of Oakhurst, where you'll find restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and more! Conveniently located, this cozy cabin is just 7 miles to Bass Lake, and walking distance from the Lewis Creek trailhead, a National Forest trail that leads to 2 waterfalls! We hope you love your stay! The space This 2-bedroom, 1-bath home is surrounded by towering cedar trees (and two Sequoia trees!), making your stay peaceful and calming. Our home fits a maximum of 4 people + an infant, with no exceptions. Its 888 sqft will make you feel welcomed and cozy. Our 1969 home sits on 0.5 acres, making it very private. On that note, you do have neighbors, so please be respectful of our quiet mountain community. Guest access Guest will have access to the whole property! Other things to note - If you're coming during the winter months, you will need to carry tire chains. We are at 3,400 ft of altitude so we do get snow in the neighborhood. It's so beautiful, but make sure you and your vehicle are prepared! Winter conditions can make certain outdoor areas (like the deck) icy and slippery, so please be mindful of that. - We have AT&T and we have service on our phones. Other carriers might not. - No parties allowed whatsoever. This will result in a cancelation of your reservation without refunds, and a complaint will be filed with Airbnb. If the party persists, the police will be called. - There are no cameras inside the cabin, but, for your safety, we do have two cameras outside of the cabin. - Smoking is not allowed. An extra cleaning fee will be charged if there is any kind of smoking smell in the house, and a complaint will be filed with Airbnb. - The fireplace is not available and it's not meant to be used. We have a strict no open flames policy (of any kind) all year round. - We are on septic, so, please don't throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. - Wildlife: we’ve seen deer, skunks, turkeys, foxes, and a brown bear around our property. Please don’t feed wildlife. A good rule of thumb is if you leave them alone, they’ll do the same. - If you believe there is a chance you might not make it to your trip, we encourage you to get Travel Insurance. As hosts, we do not provide travel insurance, and we can't protect your travel plans from unexpected events.
