The Dzogbegan Monastery

The Dzogbégan Monastery is located in the mountainous region of Danyi, about 180 km from Lomé, the capital of TOGO; The Danyi plateau, which houses our Monastery, reaches an altitude of 800 meters. The lush vegetation exhales a pure, natural, and therapeutic air. It is a tourist region, sought after especially for its mild climate, in contrast to the heat of the plain. The temperature can sometimes drop to 14°C at dawn during the harmattan (between November and January)
