CITQ Establishment #290533. Eco-friendly luxury retreat situated on a dead end road just outside the sleepy little town of Mansonville with private pond suitable for swimming. There is a very beautiful pond suitable for swimming and, depending on weather conditions, skating in the winter. We use geothermal energy and have hydronic radiant heated floors throughout the entire house. The space This offering is for the entire 2nd floor of the house which is has it's own private interior entrance. Only the outdoor areas are shared with us and other guests. We ourselves will always give our guests priority use of any shared outdoor spaces when asked. Designed with comfort and privacy in mind, the space where you will be staying includes a private indoor entrance, 2 large bedrooms with shared access to the master bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and large living room area. You have private access to a washer and dryer for a fee of $4 per load between the hours of 10am and 10pm. It is our goal to always provide you with the best experience during your entire visit. All beds have memory foam hybrid mattresses. During the colder months, there are hydronic radiant floors throughout to keep you warm and cozy. AC is provided by a hydronic fan coil for hotter days. Surrounded by natural beauty, every attempt has been made to preserve the land and its wildlife to put you in touch with nature. There are several areas scattered throughout the property to relax and get in touch with nature. This is little oasis away from it all for you to enjoy. During the winter months, there are plenty of activities to be had nearby. There are plenty of trails in the vicinity including right here in our own backyard where we maintain a small network of trails ourselves. There is an access point nearby to the North Missisquoi river to enjoy your canoe, kayak or paddleboard. All very popular activities during the summer months in the area. For your time indoors there are board games, books, etc. We hope to differentiate ourselves from all the other rentals in the area by offering a unique experience. Hopefully you will enjoy our place as much as we do. Any feedback to help us improve our offering would be greatly appreciated. Guest access You have full access to the outside of the property at all times. This includes our private spring-fed pond which is a welcome site on especially hot afternoons to take a dip. We would love to share our experiences about building our home and tell you all about what makes it so unique to anything else in the region. Spoiler alert! It is run entirely (heating, cooling and hot water) by way of geothermal energy using our very own pond. Other things to note We have full short-term renters insurance which fully protects us and our guests from any potential litigation. Standard home insurance as well as Airbnb's own guest insurance are extremely limited in the protection they provide and do not cover costly claims related to fires and personal injury.
