Titania is a special retreat inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Set within the garden of the Sonnenhügel, it forms a small world of its own – calm, romantic and thoughtfully designed. Its fully sheltered garden makes Titania truly unique. Surrounded by high hedges, this space is entirely private – just greenery, quiet and the feeling of stepping out of everyday life for a while. A peaceful place for those who value privacy, nature and subtle beauty. The space Titania is a retreat for guests who value stillness, closeness to nature and a carefully crafted atmosphere. Reduced in form yet warm in feeling, it is a place designed to slow you down and gently draw your attention inward. The tiny house itself is clear and inviting, featuring a generous bed, a small dining table and a compact kitchenette for the essentials. Everything is intentionally simple, shaped by a thoughtful choice of materials, light and proportions rather than excess. What truly sets Titania apart is its private garden, enclosed by a tall hedge and completely shielded from view. This creates a small, self-contained world of its own – a quiet place for reading, resting or long summer evenings surrounded by greenery. Titania has deliberately no electricity connection; cooking is done on gas. Wi-Fi is available, and a private refrigerator is provided. This balance of reduction and comfort supports a sense of calm and presence without giving up what matters. For Titania guests, the bathroom in the main house is available. Designed with natural stone, warm brickwork, soft lighting and carefully chosen details, it is far from a functional washroom. Instead, it feels like a small boutique bathroom – calm, refined and restorative. The bathroom is shared with the guests of the treehouse. In addition, all guests are welcome to use the Atelier Bath with infrared sauna – a place for gentle warmth, conscious pauses and relaxation. The offer is complemented by the yoga studio with a small fitness area, inviting quiet movement, stretching and renewed energy. The spacious Sonnenhügel garden offers a variety of seating and lounging areas, vegetable beds, fruit trees and peaceful paths. Whether by the crackling fire in the Grillcota, in the scent of herbs or during moments of intentional stillness, the most beautiful experiences often arise here naturally. Guest access With around 10,000 square metres of open space, the Sonnenhügel is intentionally laid out to feel spacious and unhurried. Guests will find plenty of room for privacy, calm and their own rhythm – unless they consciously choose to share moments together, for example during a relaxed barbecue evening in our Grillcota. The village of Neu Karin lies away from the usual tourist routes. This setting offers a rare sense of peace and closeness to nature. Choosing the Sonnenhügel means choosing seclusion by design – with the simple luxury of hearing nightingales sing at night and frogs calling in the morning.
