The Farmhouse Stay

Welcome to The Farmhouse Stay! You will be staying in our cozy and homey in-law suit apartment attached to our 1890's farmhouse. Yes, you do have your own entrance and we have a large parking area. Along with the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom layout, we have added a pull out couch that holds a queen bed. When not in the apartment, you can visit our chickens, quail and watch the fire flies in the field behind us. We have outdoor seating that's perfect for PA nights. The space Our property is a 1890's farmhouse sitting on more than 1 acre of land, passing many farmhouses before reaching our own. We are close to the turnpike, making travel quick and easy. Yet, far enough away to not hear or notice its noise. The Farmhouse Stay hosts a number of animals during various times of the year - like goats, chickens, quail and pigeons. If you book at the right time of the year, you can watch the thousands of fire flies flashing in our back field. Down the street is Bob White Acres - they have a great farm stand for fresh fruits and veggies as well as pick-you-own fruits most of the year. Hungry? Spinnerstown Hotel is very close by and never disappoints! Our favorite Indian restaurant (Green Chili) is 15 minutes away and a local pub, Earl's has some of the best mac and cheese in PA. Desert is a quick trip down to downtown Quakertown for water ice, smoothies, crepes, ice cream or bubble tea. Parks and creeks are very easy to find! If you need something bigger, check out Green Lane park's lake or walking trails. Truly, we are in the perfect location to have a cozy, relaxing, adventurous and fun time! Guest access You have access to your apartment, pull up in the driveway. You can view the chickens - but do not feed or enter the coop. Barn, basement, main house, garden & greenhouse are ONLY for the family living in the main house. Other things to note There is a family living in the main house full time so please be respectful.
