La Lhuiseraie, composed of two houses, offers an authentic experience in the heart of Bugey. The main house has three guest rooms, each offering a unique and warm atmosphere. In the second house, a cottage accommodates up to 6 guests. We offer a table d'hôtes, in addition to our breakfasts, all made with local, homemade and organic products. Our place, surrounded by a beautiful walled park, invites you to relax by the shared pool. The space Welcome to the Dahlia room, a warm invitation to relax. With its 32 m2, this spacious room illuminates your stay with tones of ocher, yellow and white, creating a sunny and rejuvenating atmosphere. Natural Radiance: The Dahlia embodies brightness and cheerfulness. Materials such as wicker, jute, linen and lime paint contribute to the natural and eco-friendly atmosphere of the room. Carefully curated elements complete a decor that evokes the charm of the past while incorporating modern comforts. Comfort and View: The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (160 x 200) for sweet nights and has a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Linen bed linen and organic cotton towels from the Lyon-based Baralinge brand add a touch of refined comfort. From the window, enjoy a lovely view of the charming village of Lhuis, with its beautiful stone buildings. In the distance, the Bugey Mountains emerge, offering a soothing backdrop. Welcoming Space: La Dahlia offers a generous space, with a sofa that can be converted into a bed to accommodate an extra guest. We can also provide a baby cot, for an extra charge. A small office offers a space conducive to remote working, if you want to combine work and pleasure. Small Pleasures: Gourmet breakfasts for two are included, a perfect opportunity to start your day off right. Enjoy local, homemade and organic products in our cozy dining room or, on sunny days, on the terrace overlooking the garden. Local Care: Artisanal and natural soaps, made in Bugey, underline our commitment to eco-responsible practices. The Dahlia room offers much more than just a place to stay. It is an experience bathed in light and warmth in the heart of Bugey, where every detail has been carefully thought out to brighten your stay. Guest access Guests have access to a common lounge where they can relax and discover things to do in the area. We are always available to advise you during your stay. The dining room and its large guest table is also a common room, where breakfasts and guest dinners will be served. On sunny days, we serve them on the terrace overlooking the garden. A large walled park of about one hectare and its swimming pool are accessible to all our guests (the vacation rental and the 3 guest rooms). It offers plenty of space to relax at the foot of our century-old trees. The garden is an ideal playground for young and old. We provide a variety of equipment for outdoor activities: snowshoes, balls, Molkky, children's bikes, swing... The small cabin, filled with toys, will delight the youngest. During your stay We live on site, so we will be available throughout your stay to welcome you, chat with you and when you check out. Other things to note We can provide a baby crib for your baby, with an extra charge of €10/stay (fitted sheet and mattress protector included). Please request this prior to your stay.
