Description
Relax at this serene Portland retreat on the Lake Oswego border, near Tryon Creek State Park and Lewis & Clark College in the prestigious Dunthorpe neighborhood. Explore the park, bike, hike, swim the river, and sample top local cuisine and wine at two of Willamette Valley’s best tasting rooms, all just minutes away in downtown Lake Oswego. A quick 10 minute drive takes you to downtown Portland and Portlandia! One-night weekend stays require approval. Other things to note ABOUT THE SPACE Tiny (guest) house nestled in the outer woods of Portland, in the dreamy Dunthorpe neighborhood. If you're looking for a quiet getaway to detach from the day to day, this is your spot. With views of Willamette River, Tryon State Park a walking distance away, and many restaurants nearby, this spot is just so dreamy. The house is on a 2 acre lot located behind the main house down a long pathway. It is far enough away from the main house to feel on-you- own with complete privacy. The space has high speed internet with Apple TV with pre-loaded with apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Peacock, and Max. THE SPACE The space is a well designed tiny home with a kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom. The mini kitchen is well stocked with a microwave, coffee maker, mini-oven, small fridge, toaster, blenders, induction burner, electric hot water kettle. You can stock up at Whole Foods which is nearby and cook (but would probably prefer to dine out at one of the great nearby restaurants!). Very comfy. GUEST ACCESS Parking is my least favorite quality about my property. My driveway is narrow and turning around can be a challenge, depending upon how many cars are there. There is a parking pad at the top of the driveway for you to park. Most folks manage it quite fine but I want to highlight it upon booking! =) .
