Just 1 mile from Roosevelt, TX, this peaceful getaway sits along the North Llano River, where you can swim, fish, or kayak right from the property. Relax in the spacious front yard with open farm views, or retreat to the shaded backyard beneath towering pecan trees. Spend your days hiking nearby trails, bird watching, playing cornhole, or firing up the charcoal BBQ or Traeger smoker for a delicious outdoor meal. As night falls, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, share stories, and gaze at the endless Texas stars. For guests seeking adventure, we offer hunting guides approved by the owner, with opportunities for hogs, Whitetail, and Axis deer. All hunters must have a valid hunting license, and hunts are arranged directly through the property for safety and convenience. Guest access Guests staying in Cabin Unit 2 have full private access to their cozy 1BR/1BA cabin with a kitchenette. Step outside and enjoy shared spaces like the front porch, fire pits, and grills, or wander the outdoor areas behind the cabin where you can play games, relax under the shade of pecan trees, and take in the peaceful Hill Country scenery. Spend your days fishing in the North Llano River, swimming, or simply soaking up the sun, and your evenings around the fire pit, sharing stories and stargazing under the wide Texas sky. **Special Notes: Fishing is welcome with a valid license. Hunting is available only by arrangement with the owner; unarranged hunting is subject to a fine. Other things to note We want your stay at Roosevelt River Cabins to be safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. Quiet hours are 11 PM to 8 AM to ensure everyone can relax. Pets are welcome—up to 2 per cabin—and if left in the cabin, they should be in a kennel. Please park on the gravel or concrete slab; no parking on the grass. Texas can get warm, so keep doors and windows closed to stay comfortable and keep bugs out. In winter, our well water pipes can freeze, so you may be asked to leave faucets dripping—don’t worry, we’ll contact you ahead of time if freezing weather is expected. Our countryside setting is full of wildlife, including snakes, spiders, and scorpions—please enjoy the surroundings carefully. Fire pits and grills are available for fun gatherings—just be sure never to leave them unattended and fully extinguish fires before leaving.
