Welcome to Nature’s Mountain Playground! This 1898 farmhouse sleeps 11 comfortably in 4 upstairs bedrooms. Your party will have private access to full bath upstairs and shared use of the kitchen, dining room, and living room downstairs. Your hosts live on-site in the downstairs suite. The property is comprised of Six Tenths of an acre in the Town of Hillsboro, Pocahontas County, WV. There are many unique places to feel at Home, whether it be sipping your coffee on the back porch watching the birds, telling stories around the fire pit, or snuggling into the oversized sectional couch to watch movies on the “big” screen. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essential cooking equipment that you may require during your stay. Guest access Guests will have full access upstairs to bedrooms and bathroom. Downstairs you have shared use of the kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as the outdoor patios with tables, chairs and firepit. Year round fire bans allow for most nighttime fires. During your stay Your hosts live on-site in the downstairs suite and keep mostly to ourselves. You may reach us via message thru the airbnb app. You may also see us on the property gardening or making tea in the kitchen. Most nights you’ll find us hosting a movie in the living room. Other things to note Parking is available on site. Please drive carefully, as there may be children, pets, other guests around. Fires are allowed in the fire pit after 5pm (local ordinance). The local volunteer fire department sounds an alarm to call for their volunteers. It is rare but it is LOUD.
