Nestled among towering Ponderosa Pines in Munds Park, our newly renovated cabin has been thoughtfully curated for travelers who seek both style and relaxation. Munds Park is a gem that combines small-town hospitality with easy access to Arizona's most iconic destinations - Flagstaff, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. The cabin boasts brand-new floors, oversized furniture, and spa-like bathrooms, blending modern comforts with rustic charm. Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the region! The space BEDROOMS: 4 Each of our four bedrooms has a smart TV, comfortable beds, luxurious bedding, four pillows per bed, ceiling fans, blackout curtains, and bedside lighting. - The "Humphry" Room is the primary room located on the middle floor, offers a spa-like ensuite bathroom, and a king size bed. - The "Canoe" Room is located on the top-floor, offers a queen size bed with an outdoorsy canoe camp vibe. - The "Cowboy" Room is located on the top-floor, offers a queen size bed with a modern western vibe. - The "Ski" Room is located on the bottom-floor, offers 4 queen size bunk beds with a a cozy vibe. BATHROOMS: 3.5 Our 3 full bathrooms (one on each floor of the house) are fully stocked with all the amenities you would expect at a five-star hotel. All of the bathrooms offer rain shower heads and handheld shower wands. The top-floor and bottom-floor bathrooms offer tubs. The primary ensuite features a walk-in shower. There is also a half bathroom on the middle floor off the kitchen. Our dining table seats 6 and the counter seats 3. There are 3 additional dining chairs in the garage as well if needed. We are dinner party ready providing enough plating, flatware, and drinkware for 12. LIVING ROOM: Our living room offers a large couch to fit everyone, a 75" SmartTV, and board games. Please note there is a fire place, however it is currently out of order and unable to be used by guests. OUTDOOR SPACE: We have a beautiful large deck off the front of the cabin and another deck off the back of the cabin that leads to a yard with a seasonal creek. We have a propane grill & 6 Adirondack chairs on the front deck and 2 more patio chairs on the back deck. We also have cornhole available for outdoor use and a snow shovel. LOCATION: Munds Park is a charming mountain community nestled in the heart of Northern Arizona’s Ponderosa Pine forest, offering a serene escape for those looking to relax and connect with nature. Known for its small-town hospitality, Munds Park is a favorite getaway for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. With an elevation of over 6,500 feet, it’s a cool, refreshing escape from the desert heat, making it a popular year-round destination. Outdoor activities are abundant in Munds Park. The area boasts numerous scenic hiking and biking trails, such as the Pinewood Trail and Crystal Point Trail, which offer breathtaking views of the surrounding forests and peaks. Lake O'Dell, a quiet and beautiful lake within the community, is perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying a peaceful day by the water. During the winter, the nearby Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff provides excellent skiing and snowboarding, making Munds Park a great home base for seasonal sports. From Munds Park, you’re only about 20 minutes from Flagstaff, a vibrant town with a mix of historic charm and modern amenities, where you can explore boutique shops, unique restaurants, and a lively arts scene. Flagstaff: 15-20 minutes Sedona: 20 minutes to the exit, 45 minutes to towncenter Grand Canyon Village: 1 hour 45 minutes Lake Odell: 5 minutes Crystal Point Trail Head: 5 minutes Coconino National Forest Access: 5 minutes GROCERIES: Instacart delivers to Munds Park if you would like to have your groceries delivered. We are located about 20 minutes from the closest grocery store in Flagstaff so you will want to plan accordingly. The gas station south of the freeway has a convenience store with market items and necessities. WINTER ACCESS: If you will be arriving in winter months, please check the weather, if we have had a large storm or will have a storm during your stay an AWD/4WD/4X4 vehicle is recommended and at times, required. The roads are plowed regularly during the winter season, and we have our driveways and walkways/decks privately plowed and shoveled. Please note that we cannot plow our driveways for access in/out until after the street has been plowed by the county. Patience may need to be exercised for trips taken to enjoy the winter wonderland. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home and property except for the Owners Closet located in the garage and the Mechanical Closet located on the bottom-floor. Other things to note SECURITY CAMERAS: There are 2 cameras on the exterior of the property - one is a doorbell camera at the front door, and one is a security camera on the back deck. The cameras are not consistently monitored and will only be reviewed if an issue arises regarding occupancy or noise. There are no cameras or monitoring devices inside the cabin. NO SMOKING: Please no smoking in or around the exterior of the house. NO PETS ALLOWED: We love pets, but we are currently a pet-free property as our home is not suitable to accommodate them. If violated, we will charge an additional cleaning fee to return the property back to a pet-free state. NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS: Please notify the host if you'd like to add any additional guests to your rental agreement. NO LARGE GATHERINGS: Large gatherings such as parties or events are prohibited. Drug use and excessive drinking are prohibited. NO FIREPITS: Fire pits, open flames, and outdoor wood-burning fires are not allowed on the property as we do not currently have a fire permit in place for these activities. OCCUPANCY: The guest who makes the reservation must be on the property while other guests are there. QUIET HOURS: Keep noise to a minimum 10pm to 8am daily. DAMAGES: Please report any damages or malfunctions to the host right away so we can repair or replace items as needed. LONG TERM STAYS (30+ nights): Stays of 30 nights or more are subject to Arizona landlord–tenant laws. Guests booking 30+ nights are required to review and sign a simple rental agreement (covering dates, rent, and house rules) before check-in.
