Red Squirrel Room is part of our family home - "Broomhill". "Broomhill" is set in 2.36 acres of natural, wild woodland, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife - birds, hedgehogs, deer, red squirrels & the odd pine marten. Guests have a private & spacious double bedroom with private entrance; private bath/shower room; a decked outdoor seating area, where guests can watch the wildlife at close quarters. This peaceful location is a 10 minute walk from the town centre & all its amenities. The space The guest accommodation is part of the main family house but is separated by a locked door. Guests have their own private entrance, room, bath/shower room & outdoor seating area. As the room is part of our family home. some noise from the main house is inevitable. Please take this into consideration before booking. Private parking is available at the bottom of the steps to Red Squirrel Room. The town centre & amenities can be accessed on foot in around 10 minutes. Please be aware that the walk back is a fairly steep walk all uphill. It's not recommended for anyone with mobility issues or certain health conditions. Guest access The room is part of the main house but guests have privacy as there is a locked door which separates accommodation from main family house. Guests have their own private entrance, outdoor seating area & bath/shower room. There is also free private parking on the premises. As the room is part of the main house, some noise carry through is inevitable. During your stay Contact numbers are available in the welcome information in the room. We like to interact with our guests, but understand that some guests may not want this. We tend to take our guests lead. Other things to note Breakfast is not included. There are lots of cafes locally which will provide you with a good hearty breakfast at a reasonable price. Smoking is not permitted within the room. If you need to smoke, please do so outside & ensure the room door is closed as the smell travels back into the room.
