Nature, unpretentious

Relax and unwind in this elegant house, with ease. Its large, almost entirely windowed living area gives the impression of being a little outside at all times. Access to a large covered patio from the master bedroom is very much appreciated by all. Finally, taking a bath overlooking the forest is a very pleasant experience! The space The house is built on a wooded lot of more than 56,000 square feet between the towns of Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jaques-Cartier and Saint-Raymond. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (1 king size bed and 1 double bed), but a cot or two can easily be installed in another bedroom if you have young children (total of 3 bedrooms, but we usually do not give access to our children's bedroom. Note that the double bed is a luxury camping bed so one section is inflatable. We therefore wish to accommodate 2 adults who can accommodate 2 other adults on occasion (visiting). Here is the list of possible and easily accessible activities: - Jacques Cartier bike path about 2 km from the house (you can go to Quebec City or even Rivière-à-Pierre if you wish!) - Lac-Sergent Golf Course (2 min. drive) - Golf du Grand-Portneuf (15 min. drive) - Duchesnay tourist resort: hiking trails, adventure circuit, water sports, etc. (5 min. by car) - Downtown Quebec City: Plains of Abraham, museums, Château Frontenac, Petit Champlain, etc. (40-minute drive) - Mountain bike Vallée Bras-du-Nord St-Raymond sector (5 min. by car and 12 km on the bike path) - Wildlife reserves and the famous Bras-du-Nord Valley (Shanahan sector): fishing, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning, excursions, hiking and mountain biking (35 min by car) - Lac Saint-Joseph beach (15-minute drive). Guest access The entire house is at your disposal except for one bedroom (our twins' bedroom). The garage will be locked. Other things to note A dog (which is described as hypoallergenic, but still) lives on site when there is no booking by guests.
