Glamping in Val Grande
Description
A stay in the wilderness of the Alps, immersed in the lush nature of the Val Grande National Park. A special glamping tent, designed for camping in greater comfort and for hikers and bikers who don't want to carry the weight of their own tent! Plan your trek in Val Grande, enjoy the silence and regenerate away from the city! The space Hi! I'm Rolando. My family and I run the agri-campsite and the agritourism where the glamping tent is set up. Located on a terrace overlooking the valley, it has a private outdoor area available for relaxation. Inside, it is furnished with two beds complete with sheets and blankets (a queen-size bed can be prepared on request). Towels and soaps are provided for the bathroom. It is supplied with electricity. The bathrooms are a short distance away, in the agritourism building, separated for men and women and equipped with a space with sinks, a toilet room and a room with a hot shower. Guest access The agri-campsite can be reached on foot via a path, 5 minutes from where you leave your car. There is also a common area available to guests with tables for lunch and a relaxation area, a dishwashing corner and a small stove for cooking food (it is still preferable to have your own camping stove). There are no ovens. We provide basic equipment such as pots, plates, cutlery and glasses. Other things to note Cicogna, a small mountain village, is considered the capital of the Val Grande National Park. A wild area a stone's throw from Lake Maggiore, on the Piedmontese shore. It is 15 km from Verbania. To reach us you will have to enter the valley via a mountain road that enters the heart of the National Park! The road is narrow, but easily passable by car or small vans. Be careful, in the last stretch there is a tunnel with a maximum height of 2.70 metres! Once you reach your destination you can relax or hike, go down to the river where you can find beautiful pools to swim, climb the crests of the mountains to enjoy breathtaking views. Following the nature trails of the park, set up with illustrative panels, you will discover a valley full of charm, with its centuries-old history and unspoiled nature. There are no shops in Cicogna, bring everything you need before going up! On my farm you can buy goat cheese and charcuterie. Free wifi is provided while mobile phones don't always have a field!
