We are located in a quite residential area which is located in a quite cul-de-sac in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. One of the most famous writers of the 20th century was D.H. Lawrence, whose groundbreaking novel Lady Chatterley’s Lover changed English literature for ever. When Lawrence was growing up in Eastwood, this part of Nottinghamshire was dominated by the coal mining industry, which has now declined, but still holds a pride of place in history. The space You will be able to enjoy the entire property in a quiet residential close. The outside garden area of the property to the rear is still being developed, and should be in a usable state no sooner than 2025, where we are hoping to add the use of a barbecue area. As experienced traveller's and hosts to a great many guests and countries over the years, we have tried to provide accommodation that exceeds our customer’s expectations, at a cost, that also exceeds our customer’s expectation when experiencing what we provide. For leisure traveller's, Eastwood Town is not a tourist destination in itself, but is greatly positioned between the centers of Nottingham, Derby and Mansfield within a half hour range at non peak times. We are also positioned in the right place to visit the Peak district. As we are just down the road from Eastwood Hall, we are an ideal location for any events that you may be attending. If you attending a Wedding, Conference, promotional event, or just visiting family then we provide accommodation at a price that will exceed your expectations. Lounge Area The 3-seater recliner sofa and the TV are in the lounge area are there to provide you with a relaxing environment . There is a King Size Bed (Bedroom 1) and the 2nd bedroom has a Bunk Bed provided which accommodates altogether 4 people minimum. As an additional service, we provide a travel cot (at no additional cost) for those families who have had an addition to the family above 4 personnel, which you may have not planned for, but has created an asset to our country for it's future prosperity. Other Facilities We provide an outside area to air your clothes, and an iron and ironing board to ensure you have every facility to ensure whatever event (if any) you may be attending. If not attending an event, then at least we will be able to ensure that you will be able to look your best visiting our extensive rural and country area's. Kitchen The well equipped kitchen has in our opinion everything that a normal family would expect to find at home. Guest access This is through your own front door. Please note - Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, but we do allow Vaping on a socially acceptable basis. No Cloud Chasing please! We have, and will always base our treatment of the customer as a priority, at a cost, which is both acceptable, and affordable within an industry that has at times, exploited our national need for time away from the normal pressures of life. Guest access All areas are accessible, unfortunately the rear garden is still under development and should be completed late June. As of May 2025 guests will have access to the patio area. Other things to note There is a Travel Cot available on site and is always available should you need it.
