Come relax and recharge at The Nest guesthouse - a peaceful, newly-built, stylish retreat. Curl up with a book by the fire, or simply gaze out over the stunning nature preserve across the valley. Minutes from the restaurants, shops and galleries of downtown Kent, The Nest at Wynter House offers a perfect mix of convenience and tranquility. While the hosts live onsite, the guesthouse is fully self contained and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay in the Litchfield Hills. The space The Nest comprises of: Main Level - Open plan living room, kitchen and dining area, with a gas fireplace - The kitchen has an 30” induction range, a 24” standing fridge-freezer, a microwave, double sink, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. It’s well stocked with pots, pans, kitchenwares and glassware, as well as some basic staples - Entryway and foyer - Large walk-in closet - Outdoor deck with four chairs and a table Upstairs - Primary bedroom with a queen-sized bed - Second bedroom with two single beds (which can be turned into a double bed upon request) - Bathroom with walk-in shower The house is on a hillside and access is via an outdoor staircase. The driveway and parking area is shared with the hosts. We hope you’ll love our home as much as we do! Guest access Guests have private and exclusive use of the entire Nest guesthouse and its outdoor deck. Your hosts - James and David - live onsite in a separate part of the house with its own entrance, deck and backyard. The lap pool in their backyard is shared and available to guests between 10am and 4pm during summer months. The driveway and parking area for The Nest are shared with the hosts. The Nest doesn’t have a washer-dryer, but feel free to reach out to the hosts if you need something washed during your stay. Other things to note Please note, access to the guesthouse is up a flight of stairs.
