Rustic Cabin #2, a classic lakefront cabin offering the perfect escape for a retreat. Nestled in the East bay Houghton Lake. This cabin boasts breathtaking waterfront views, and unforgettable sunsets. Direct lake access w/ a private shared dock, perfect for swimming, fishing, and kayaking! Unplug (we do have Wifi) and reconnect with family & friends with a Lake Day! The space Our oldest cabin on the property, in beautiful condition and maintained for a perfect lake getaway. This cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, full size fridge/freezer, and fully equipped kitchen. Steps away from the water and dock access, a fire pit, picnic table, and an area for lounging lakeside. This cabin also has a small screened in porch area that we like to think is perfect for coming and going from the lake. We have placed a non-slip mat and towel hanger in there :) Guest access We will provide information about lockbox access, parking, and dock/swimming area guide at booking. We have parking space for boat/watercraft and ORV trailers. Other things to note For guests bringing a boat/watercraft: The dock is only allowed to be used for the purpose of loading/unloading and must be tied off away from the dock throughout the stay. We have sand augers for use, if needed, and maybe limited during busy summer months.
