Rustic 1920’s cabin on Rangeley Lake. Walking distance (.5 mile) to Oquossoc Village eateries, general store, canoe, and kayak rental, marina. Hang out on the porch at the Oquossoc general store to make use of their free WiFi. 7 mile drive to town of Rangeley, with hiking and mountain biking at Saddleback Ski Area, restaurants and shops. The space This is a basic, no frills, lakefront cabin with beautiful lake views, great porch with large lake side windows, great for reading and games. Two small bedrooms; one room with a full bed and one room with a bunkbed and twin. Full kitchen, charcoal grill available (byo charcoal) and firepit. One bathroom with shower. Private dock and sandy swimming area. Note: No heat or AC. Cabin stays cool in summer months without AC. No heat; plan accordingly if coming in September. No wifi. Great place to unplug and unwind and enjoy the water. Other things to note There is no smoking of any kind allowed on the property inside or outside. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boards are available for rent down the road at Rivers Edge Sports which is right on the lake so you can paddle over to the house. Boats are not available as part of rental.
