Älvnäs B&B - room with breakfast and river view

You will be charmed by the location and the view! Sleeping loft in a separate building. Fits 1-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Private toilet with sink (no shower). Small table with dining places. View of the Österdal River and one of Gagnef's two pontoon bridges. Access to the jetty for swimming in the river. Breakfast, bed linens, towels and cleaning are included. Possibility to book SUP, SPA bath and bicycle at extra cost. Perfect location for excursions around Dalarna. Sommarland, Tomteland, Falu mine etc. The space A newly-built loft on top of a detached garage with one room and a small bathroom. A steep staircase on the outside leads up to the loft. The room has a sofa corner with armchair, coffee table and sofa bed/day bed with pull-out bed that becomes 160 cm wide. There is also a 120 cm bed and a dining table with two chairs (two extra are available if needed). A small private bathroom with toilet and sink is available in the loft. You do not have access to a shower or bathtub but instead a bathing jetty with a ladder down into the river. Perfect for a dip or a swim. Outside the door there is a small porch with morning and evening sun and wonderful views of the river. There is a small table and two garden chairs. In the room, there are a variety of board games and both children's and adult books to borrow. Should you get stuck on a book that you don't have time to read, you are welcome to take it home. There is also a kettle as well as coffee, tea and chocolate available. Dishes, silverware, mugs, wine glasses and drinking glasses for four people are also available. Bath towels, sheets, cleaning and breakfast are included. Upon arrival, there is a list of breakfast requests to fill out. Breakfast is left at the desired time in a basket outside your door. Guest access As a guest, you have your own private access to the entire loft including the small porch. The lower lawn by the river with jetty, swimming area, trampoline and swings is shared with us as a guest in the family. During your stay If you need help with anything or have questions, just knock or call/message me. Usually someone in the family is at home and can help immediately. Other things to note We have a dog and a cat that move around the property. Let us know if you are afraid of dogs and we will make sure to keep the dog on the front side inside the fence.
