Separate private entrance on a beautiful gated property. View of the coastal range on a clear day, Lake Wildwood, and the rice patties in Marysville which look like pools of liquid gold when the sun hits them. Facing the west, the sunsets are magical and you can enjoy them from your private patio. We have multiple hummingbird feeders and you will see up to 60 at any given time during warm weather. It's very quiet at night, the stars are bright due to very little light pollution. Please note we are 8.6 MILES from downtown Grass Valley, 9.1 miles from Penn Valley and 10 miles from downtown Nevada City - all three have eateries, wineries, music venues and shops! We have a Countertop Burner Induction Hot Plate with LCD Sensor Touch and pans, toaster oven and microwave for meal prep-Please note there is NO stove or oven, Keurig coffee maker, hot water tea kettle, full size fridge with freezer and dishwasher. You are welcome to use ice from freezer for coolers. Guest access Please drive around back behind the house to park. The apartment private entrance is back there. Parking spot close to the door, and the photos with arrows shows you where the door is. We will message you with a personalized gate code the day of arrival. If arriving after dark let us know and we will make sure the porch/walkway lights are on for you. Other things to note This area has rolling power outages, but we are well equipped with solar and battery backup - the transition over is seamless. You may not charge electric cars during the outages, and must use heat/AC conservatively during outages. Host will notify and be communicating with the guest during outages with specific instructions.
