Prior to confirming any booking, all inquiries will receive an automated message inquiring whether you reside in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs. If your reservation is accepted and it is subsequently determined that you are a local resident, the reservation will be canceled immediately without a refund. AGE POLICY Our property enforces a strict 21+ age policy. Guests must be at least 21 years old to book and check in. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. PHOTO ID VERIFICATION Please note that all guests are required to present a valid photo ID after reservation approval. If we do not receive the IDs of all guests within 24 hours of approval, the reservation will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. PARTIES Please note that our home is a quiet and private space, and we kindly request that no parties or loud gatherings take place during your stay. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, as well as our neighbors. Violation of this rule may result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and will not be refunded, OR a $300 violation fee at the host’s discretion. VISITORS Visitors are welcome with prior approval. The maximum number of guests permitted in the home at any one time is six, including those listed on the reservation. Any additional visitors without prior approval will incur a $200 violation fee and may result in the termination of your booking without refund. SMOKING To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy in place. This includes all forms of tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and vaping devices. Please note that there is a $350 fee for treating smoke odors inside the home. PETS POLICY We regret that we cannot accommodate pets of any kind in our home. This is to ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our space for all guests, as well as to protect our furniture and belongings. Violation of this rule will result in a $300 fee at the host’s discretion. DAMAGES To ensure that our home remains in great condition for future guests, we have a strict policy regarding damages. If any damages occur during your stay, you will be charged the full cost of repair or replacement. We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know right away if anything is damaged or not working properly. This way, we can work together to resolve the issue quickly and fairly. ADDITIONAL GUESTS Our home is designed to comfortably accommodate 4 guests. Any additional guests beyond the initial four may be approved on a case-by-case basis at a rate of $50 per person per night to account for extra usage of utilities and supplies. Failure to obtain approval for additional overnight guests may result in termination of your stay without refund. You are welcome to host up to 6 visitors at a time; however, please note that any overnight visitors will incur the additional guest fee.
