Welcome to Cardinal Cottage at Lake Tyler! Enjoy our peaceful neighborhood while sitting on the huge front porch or under the backyard pergola. We are one street over from Lake Tyler East. Bring your boat & enjoy the beautiful lake, with boat parking on property. Cardinal Cottage is a short 30-minute drive to Tyler hospitals, Caldwell Zoo, great restaurants, shopping and family entertainment, several golf courses nearby. Lake Tyler Marina is 10 mins away with food, beach & boat launch. The space Cardinal Cottage at Lake Tyler East is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home. It is nestled on a large lot, under over a dozen large Pine and Oak Trees. It is the most relaxing place on earth! You will notice the Cardinal theme once enter the property. The name is chosen not only for the many Cardinals you will see while on the property, but is a salute to my Mom and Nana. We have smart TV's in the Living Room and both bedrooms. There is ample dining space, comprised of the large island, dining room table and another table on the front porch. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, the second bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is additional sleeping in the living room which has a queen sized foldout couch and also a daybed. The outside is our favorite part. Under the trees in the backyard, we have a pergola with seating, a BBQ grill and a fire pit. Exterior walkway lighting, Pergola with lighting and fans. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm. Enjoy your time with family on property, or bring your boat and use the neighborhood boat launch just down the street. There is a nice beach, swimming area, and restaurant at Lake Tyler Marina, just minutes away. Guest access The entire home is yours to enjoy. You will be provided a code for the front door to be used the duration of your stay. It will be sent to you 24 hours prior to arrival. The key to the boat launch is on the key hook next to refrigerator. Please make sure and return it if use it, or will be charged $200 for lost key. You must also make sure and close the gate for boat launch after entering or exiting. The boat launch area is restricted to parking only for truck and trailer on right hand side after launching boat. No additional vehicles can be parked in that area. Other things to note NO PETS are allowed. Sorry we are a pet free property. Please do not ask for an exception, we are firm on no pet policy. Maximum number of guests is 7 unless you contact us for pre approval. Additional guest fees will apply. We do have exterior security cameras for both entrances. This is an extremely safe, peaceful neighborhood. Absolutely no smoking inside or on property please. There is a mattress pad under daybed in living room that can go on pullout couch. (I hate an uncomfortable bed 🤣)
