The space Enjoy our idealistic Palisade property located close enough to town for easy access to all the town’s amenities but far enough away for the true Palisade country experience. The 100 year old renovated farmhouse sits on a half acre property with panoramic views, working peach orchard and hobby vineyard. The property features stunning views of Grand Mesa, Book Cliffs, and a pergola-covered patio overlooking a horse pasture on the Colorado River. Natural light and views fill every room. The open layout living area features a full modern chef’s kitchen with antique waffle iron, toaster, and coffee machine. Also, there is a burr grinder and lever pull espresso machine for the coffee aficionado. Enjoy your favorite libation while listening to a record, reading a book, or watching your favorite tv show. For the grill master, there are both charcoal kettle and propane grills. The property is perfectly located. Walk to Colterris or the Palisade Rim Trail Head. Bike to wineries, orchards or downtown Palisade. And shop at our neighbor’s farm store, the Whistle Stop Shop Head. Guest access You will have full access of the home interior. This is a rural, working property and the peach orchard is professionally managed by our neighbor. You may occasionally see someone on-site working in the orchard. The vineyard is a wine producing vineyard managed by the owners. We want our guests to fully enjoy and experience our cherished property, but please stay out of the following areas: -The steep hill near the back patio -The historical sheds -The newly planted vineyard behind the license plates (we're making wine and the vines are still young and fragile) -Please stay only on our property. Our property ends at the shared driveway with our neighbor. Other things to note The house is located next to a train track, so there are occasional trains that may pass at any time of the day causing a temporary noisy environment.
