Glenalan Cottage

Glenalan, is a charming 3 bedroom cottage at the end of a no-through road, overlooking the picturesque Hunter River in the quaint hamlet of Glendon, NSW. Glenalan is 10 minutes from Singleton, 35 minutes from the Pokolbin and Broke/Fordwich wine growing areas and 35 minutes from Gresford, the gateway to the Barrington area. The space Step inside to discover the renovated interior with 3 bedrooms (king,queen and a single), a fully equipped kitchen, butlers pantry and laundry with bright and airy lounge and dinning areas. Enjoy lazy mornings sipping coffee on the verandahs taking in the valley or mountain views. A generous breakfast pack is provided for you for your first morning consisting of cereal, sourdough bread, bacon and eggs, spreads, milk, Juice, tea and coffee, as well as a complimentary bottle of bubbly. The cottage has WiFi, smart TV and DVD player for your entertainment and reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort. While the property is not fully fenced and, with an operating farm next door, it is not suitable for pets. Please note we are not a farm stay. Guests have no access to the neighbouring farm. Guest access Whole house and grounds are for guests enjoyment. Garage not available. Other things to note Glendon is a quiet rural area were farm equipment, livestock and nocturnal animal noises are the norm, however it would be appreciated if guests respect the No Party Rule, were loud music and raucous behaviour is discouraged. However we welcome you to enjoy our deck and entertainment area where you can relax with your guest. There are electric fencing at the rear of the property and children need to be discouraged in playing around the sewerage sprinklers and Oleander bushes along the northern property boundary. Oleanders are a poisonous plants. Summer brings with it visiting snakes, please be aware of walking outside during the evening as they hunt at night. Occasionally there maybe an event on at the Glendon Hall and with that comes background noise and the increase of traffic down our No Through Rd. Registration Details PID-STRA-61971
