Welcome to Linden Cottage! A self-contained 2 BR 1930's cottage a short distance from the centre of town. Every room has a comfortable space with a view. In the warmer season, spend time with family and friends out in the garden surrounds, in a fully fenced yard. In the colder months, the fireplace will create a warm toasty fire to enjoy in the lounge room. Love eating out? Beechworth offers plenty of places just a short distance away. We hope you enjoy yourself! The space A perfect stay for family or couples offering 2 queen bedrooms with views to the front garden. The newly renovated bathroom includes a full size bath. The dining area has a table seating 6, and also a dedicated work space, with french doors and a view to the side garden. The lounge includes plenty of seating, the window facing the setting sun, TV, ceiling fans, split system, and a warm cosy fire can be enjoyed in the cooler months. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, microwave, oven and cook-top, with the first rays of the morning sun beaming through the kitchen window. The front and back verandahs have seating to enjoy drinks. Children are welcome. A cot and highchair can be provided on request. Pets are also welcome and we provide food and water bowls. Guests just need to bring pet bedding and food. Guest access Linden Cottage has a fully enclosed yard, set off from the main road with parking next to the house. Just keep the main driveway gate closed. You will have use of the entire house and space around. After driving down the long driveway to park, guests can then access entry directly to the back door. For your ease, there is only one step to enter the house. Other things to note Children are very welcome and 0-2 years stay for free. A cot and highchair can be provided on request. 2 years+ will be charged as extra adult fee per night. Getting around - its a short stroll to town, with an option of heading down towards Newtown bridge, a lookout to see the falls. The local gym is situated on the way down the hill with a view to the gorge. Alternatively you can go up and turn onto the rail trail which can lead to town, or to Lake Sambell. Bikes can be hired from town (check with local business regarding their operating months), and also taxi's are available if needed 3 mins drive to the town and you'll find the laundromat, supermarket and green grocer.
