Printmaker's Cottage Guest Suite

Down a flowery lane on the edge of the village, our 1870 cottage is restored with traditional materials and an architect-designed extension. The guest suite is thoughtfully decorated with art and vintage furniture. Listen to birdsong on the veranda overlooking our lush garden. Relax by the fire or walk from our doorstep on footpaths and country lanes to scenic Heydon or Itteringham; both with proper country pubs and pretty cafes. The beach is just 20 mins drive, Georgian Holt 15 and Norwich 30. The space The bedroom contains a very comfortable king size antique brass bed, a chest of draws, clothes rail, hangers, a bench and vintage rattan folding chair. The sitting room contains a bespoke artist designed double sofabed, tv, wood burning stove, antique oak desk, mid century brass folding coffee table, comfy original art deco chairs, vintage rattan folding chairs and a drop leaf table which can seat four. There’s my library of art and printmaking books to browse plus a vintage Sega Mater System retro gaming setup complete with vintage 1970s TV! The red plans chest contains my paper store and collection of artwork which I will unlock for you should you wish to browse. The kitchenette contains a countertop hob (no oven), microwave, kettle, toaster, mini fridge, cafetière, teapot, saucepan, frying pan, chopping board complementary coffee, tea, milk, sugar cooking oil and some other useful items. The shower room has a high quality shower, toilet, sink and first aid kit in the cabinet. Outside, your private deck is the perfect place to sit out and enjoy the birdsong. This leads to our back garden, an ideal place for kids to play. The accommodation is furnished with my collection of art, objects and books for your enjoyment. Throughout there’s a focus on sustainability by using up cycled materials and solar power. Guest access Cross our garden to find your private decking area and the lockbox next to the back door.
