Our cozy little cabin is tucked away on 4.5 beautiful acres of wooded area on the Little Missouri River next to our big family cabin (which we don’t rent out). If you don't want to hang out at the cabin or by the river we are about a 5 minute drive to Lake Greeson. If you want to get out and experience Murfreesboro there's fun and unique shopping downtown. You can also go visit Crater of Diamonds State Park or Ka Do Ha Indian Village. If you aren't in the mood to cook and want to dine out, there’s a few places to choose from. If you want pizza we recommend Pizza Inn at Exxon which also has a Baskin-Robbin’s if you’re craving ice cream located on E 13th st. Telinga's Mexican is okay but not one we recommend. There’s better Mexican in Nashville if you’re really craving Mexican food. The Feed Bin Cafe is lunch/supper and Hawkins General Store is breakfast/brunch both are in the square. The Dam Grill located at Swaha marina about 5 min away and they serve American/seafood. Nanny’s kitchen located on E 13th st and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner (plus they sell convenient store items as well). Terri’s Place located on N Washington serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (American) located on N Washington. The local grocery store is the Chimney Rock grocery which just opened in January 2026 and is located right outside of the square on W Main. There is a Dollar General and Family Dollar on E 13 st which carry limited grocery items. There is a super Walmart about 25 min away in Nashville.
