Located on Little Exuma, close to Tropic Of Cancer beach. Garden View 1 is freshly renovated and beautifully decorated with a nicely appointed kitchenette on two acres of tropical island forest with lots of birds and butterflies. Kayak and paddle board tours available. Moriah Harbor National Park is a short paddle away. Forbes Hill beach is a 4 minute drive & Tropic of Cancer beach is 8 minutes. Transportation to local beaches included. Check out two more rooms, Garden View 2 & Ocean View. The space This is a ground floor unit with a private entrance. It has been beautifully renovated with new windows, wood paneled walls and ceilings, tile floors, custom tile in the kitchen and bath, with a soothing ocean color theme. Features wifi, AC, queen bed, fine linens and towels. There is a dining table and 2 chairs. The kitchen has all equipment and utensils needed to prepare meals. The room catches the fresh ocean breezes that wash across the island. The windows provide a direct view into the garden and the many species of birds that visit daily. Guest access Guests are welcome to use a large deck with comfortable chairs for reading, sunbathing, relaxing and socializing with a Kalik (the local brew). It overlooks the gardens and catches the island breeze. The deck is also great for stargazing. The night sky is incredibly clear here on the island and the stars seem close enough to touch! Don't want to cook? Meals can be deliciously and freshly prepared for you on site, with advance notice. Meals are additional with basic rental, but can be part of an all inclusive package. The Inn has water frontage on a beautiful mangrove creek with a floating dock to launch kayaks and paddleboards. We offer guided tours to spectacular island beaches in a national park that have no road access. Photographers and nature lovers will thrill to the lush gardens of native plants, flowers and fruits and the many species of birds and butterflies. There are walking paths that meander the two acre estate. Other things to note Ronda and Steve are professional kayaking and expedition guides with experience in the hospitality industry. We are naturalists with much knowledge of the flora and fauna and history of this island. We have been exploring the waters around our inn for twenty years and can show you the beaches, trails, and unique spots you may not find or notice on your own. Activities available include world class kayaking tours , paddle boarding tours , snorkeling tours, boating, and beach excursions.
