Indulge in the bamboo waterfall shower or lounge in the tranquil Indonesian gazebo. There are only you and max 2 other guests from our Orange House to share the pool. Usually you will have the pool for yourselves. - Lush Private Estate: Wander through our extensive gardens, explore the bamboo forest, and delight in harvesting your own seasonal fruits from our diverse trees!" Other things to note To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, please note the following: - Getting Here from San José (SJO): We highly recommend renting a car. The drive is approximately 3-4 hours (200 km / 124 miles). For your safety and enjoyment, we advise driving during daylight hours. The best route is Highway 27 (Caldera) then Highway 34 (via Jaco, Quepos, Dominical to Uvita). - Alternative Travel: You can also take a domestic flight from SJO to Quepos, then rent a car for the easy 45-minute drive to Uvita. - Rental Car Recommendation: A rental car is highly recommended for exploring the Uvita area. While not strictly necessary, an SUV (even a small one) offers more comfort on local roads. - Beach Access: The nearest beach, Playa Hermosa, is 3 km (1.5 miles) away. The famous Whale's Tail Beach is approximately 5 km (3 miles). There are 7 different beaches in the Uvita area; a car is needed to access them. - Internet Speed: Enjoy symmetrical fiber optic internet (100 Mbps download / 100 Mbps upload) provided by Kölbi. - Wildlife: Our estate is a haven for local flora and fauna. While wonderful, please be mindful that you are in a natural environment. - Privacy: The STudio Apartment offers exceptional privacy. While we are on the property, we respect your space completely.
