Rainy season from May to early December ☁️ Location details (Important): • Located in the rural community of San Luis • 20-minute drive from downtown Santa Elena • 15 minutes drive from Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve Convenience: • Small grocery store (Minisuper El Alto) within 5-minute walking distance (7 am-6 pm, Sundays 9 am-5 pm, availability may vary). • Additional restaurants, stores, and amenities are available in Santa Elena (15-20 minutes away) Roads of Monteverde: • Gravel road • Vehicle with decent ground clearance recommended • During rainy season (May to early December), road conditions may be challenging • 4WD vehicle is preferable, especially during rainy months Dome Access: Gravel road with paved strips to the dome - entrance (vehicle with decent ground clearance recommended - 4WD is preferable) 🚗 Nature & Wildlife: Being immersed in the cloud forest means bugs are part of the adventure! You'll meet various insects (beetles, moths, spiders) especially during rainy season (May-December). While we provide screens, glamping means being closer to nature than a sealed hotel room. These harmless little forest residents are part of what makes this experience so authentic! Keeping doors closed helps minimize visitors 🦋 🪲 Security: Cameras monitor the dome entrance and parking area only. Private areas (inside the dome, glamping net, and hot tub) are not monitored for your privacy 🔒 Internet: High-speed satellite connection (50/10 Mbps) suitable for video calls and remote work. Note that weather might affect internet performance 📡 Cellular Coverage: Please note that cellular coverage in the San Luis area is limited, and there is no signal near the dome.
