Within in the picturesque grounds of The Old Rectory, The Stables offers a delightful blend of comfort and character, ensuring a memorable stay. The property is in convenient proximity to Kilkhampton village amenities, whilst enjoying spectacular views towards Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, and has the fantastic beaches of Bude just a short drive away. The space The cottage comfortably accommodates two guests with a mezzanine-level bedroom featuring a double bed. It’s worth bearing in mind that due to the quaint nature of this property, the stairs up to the mezzanine are rather steep. The ground floor includes a spacious kitchen with a dining area, providing all the essentials for your stay, such as an electric cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, and a small freezer in the cupboard. The bathroom, also located on the ground floor, includes a bath with overhead shower, a basin, and a toilet. The sunken sitting room creates a relaxing, cosy atmosphere with a sofa, electric fire, and a workspace area. The properties is not short of entertainment, options include enjoying a favourite film or binging a box set on the Smart TV (access to guest’s own Netflix and Amazon Prime) a DVD player, an Echo Dot and Bluetooth speaker to perfect your holiday vibe, and a selection of board games and books. Step outside to the private patio, where you’ll find outdoor seating and a table, perfect for al fresco dining. A BBQ is available for guest use, and there is also access to a shared fire pit. The middle lawn is shared with the neighbouring property, providing additional space for relaxation. Although the garden area is not enclosed, it remains a lovely space to enjoy the outdoors. The Stables also offers practical amenities such as its own private entrance, a tumble dryer, washing machine, and drying racks in the shared laundry room. Parking is available for one car, and the property is dog-friendly so furry friends are welcome to join you during your stay.
