Welcome to the gateway of the world! Located in the beautiful Thousand Islands and a 3 minute drive downtown Gananouqe and a 20 minute drive to downtown Kingston, you are fully surrounded by the beautiful St Lawrence River. This cottage is perfectly located for you and your friends and family to enjoy. With its extra large windows this luxury but homey cottage was designed for star gazing and watching the sunset from the comfort off the living room or its beautiful 10 foot kitchen island. The space As this is a cozy cottage nestled in nature, you may see bugs, spiders, or other little critters around the property. We do our best to keep the space clean and critter-free, but due to the cottage’s location and natural surroundings, it’s part of the experience of staying close to the outdoors. The cottage is completely surrounded by water, which makes it a peaceful escape—but also means it’s prime territory for mosquitoes and bugs, especially in the warmer months. To keep the inside of the cottage comfortable, please keep the patio doors and windows closed as much as possible. Even leaving them open for a short time can invite a swarm of uninvited guests inside! Thank you for helping us keep the cottage cozy and bug-free. If you encounter anything concerning, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help! Please note that this is a cottage property on a septic system, so we kindly ask that you use water sparingly. This includes short showers, mindful dishwashing, and avoiding unnecessary water use. The water is not treated for drinking, so we recommend bringing your own bottled or filtered drinking water for your stay. We appreciate your understanding and care in helping us maintain the cottage and its systems. Please note that the dock is older and shows signs of wear, but rest assured—it is secure and safe to use. It may not look perfect, but it remains structurally sound and stable for swimming, lounging, and enjoying the water. As always, please use caution around water and supervise children closely. A barbecue is provided for your enjoyment! We kindly ask that you clean the grill after use and again before the end of your stay to keep it in good condition for the next guests. Grill brush and cleaning supplies are provided. Thank you for your cooperation! Guest access There is a public beach just across the street that you’re welcome to enjoy during your stay! Please be mindful that it’s a shared natural space—help us keep it beautiful by cleaning up all garbage and being respectful of the surrounding wildlife and environment. Leave no trace, and enjoy the water!
