Unique Apartment Georgetown

Come enjoy the beauty of midcoast Maine while staying at our unique space! We offer an apartment with attached private bath in Georgetown, home of 5 Islands Harbor and Reid State Park. The space Come enjoy the beauty of Georgetown in this unique apartment! Conveniently located just a few minutes up the road from Reid State Park and its amazing beaches and trails, it is also about a five minute drive to Georgetown’s iconic Five Islands Harbor. If you’re attending a wedding in the area, we are just down the street from The Mooring and Grey Havens. Prepare to be serenaded by peepers in the evening and enjoy the bird calls and wildlife sightings at our unique little apartment. Not your typical Maine cottage experience but still very cozy, this non-traditional space features a studio apartment with complete kitchenette, big screen TV and large comfy bed! The private bathroom is located just across the hall in the larger, unoccupied building. The indoor space is yours alone during your stay. My family and I built the buildings you see on the property ourselves. The larger building is made partially out of shipping containers, and it used to be an organic hydroponic farm, though it is currently not in production. We have a little edible garden growing in the window boxes and containers outside the apartment - help yourself to some herbs, salad greens or tomatoes! This summer, Donovan’s, a lobster roll truck, will be parked on the other side of the property and they’ll be serving up lunch time lobster rolls with lobster fresh off the boat. Convenient to many of the island’s attractions, and simple with many of the amenities to be comfortable on your vacation, our apartment will make a great base to explore this area! Well-behaved pets are welcome!
