Baxter Place on beautiful Webster Lake is ideal for a family vacation or weekend getaway. The lakefront view is breathtaking with a gorgeous setting for wildlife viewing, star gazing, fishing, and water play. Whether you sit on the spacious deck with retractable awning, the lakefront sunroom/bunkroom, or in the comfortable open-concept living area, the peaceful surroundings will make you want to stay. The space The water along our shore is shallow, sandy, and walkable. Guests are welcome to use our pier with open boat slip, which is in place from approximately late-April through mid-Oct. We have two kayaks for guest use. Just a third of a mile away is the community center with pickleball and basketball courts. North Webster Town Park is less than a mile away and offers a small swimming beach, playground, picnic shelter, and a few public boat slips for your short visit to the park. Next to the park is Lakeview Pizza King and the Dixie Sternwheeler Excursion Boat. My husband and I have nearly 10 years' experience in the vacation rental business. As owners, and through our personal experience as vacation property renters, we have learned to make comfort and convenience top priorities. You'll find the kitchen cabinets full of dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and appliances for every cooking need. We provide cozy bedding and luxurious bath towels. And rain or shine, you won't be bored: we have board games, playing cards, toys, and books for all ages. Let the fun begin! Guest access Guests have full, private use of 3 bedrooms plus a newly converted sunroom/bunkspace; 2.5 bathrooms, including a jacuzzi tub in the master; a full kitchen; the open-concept living and dining areas; a spacious deck with patio furniture and a new retractable awning; and a laundry room. Owners maintain a small locked closet and secure the garage and shed for their personal belongings. Other things to note CHECKOUT: In order to allow ample time for turnover cleaning and laundering, we need to require 10 a.m. departure on checkout day. IMPORTANT: You are responsible for your group's water safety. Communicate your rules. Use the buddy system. Wear life jackets if needed (we provide several for your use). Most of all, provide adult supervision for little ones. We have two kayaks for guest use at your own risk.
