Bed and breakfast with private bathroom

A spacious, and light room in a charming terraced house, that is conveniently situated in a quiet part of Talgarth. Approx 15 minutes from Hay on Wye and Brecon. A generous cereal and toast breakfast with coffee and tea making facilities is provided in the room. Guests have exclusive access to a private bathroom making this a self-contained accommodation that is convenient for local shows and events, walking in the Black Mountains, gliding or enjoying the historical town of Talgarth. The space The house is in an attractive terrace on a quiet residential street. It is bigger than it appears when viewing the outside of the property. It has been extensively renovated and redecorated throughout and has a modern bathroom on the second floor which is for exclusive use by guests. There is a powerful shower and large walk in cubicle. Guests enter by the front door, walk through the sitting room and take the stairs up to the third floor. Please note there are steps throughout the house. From the room there are views over the houses to Parc Wood in one direction and to Mynydd Troed in the other. The room is self-contained with an dining area and a coffee, tea and toast making station. There is plenty of space for luggage and hanging clothes. Talgarth is a pretty town with many flower filled containers, baskets and small public gardens. The river Enig runs through the town and there are seats along the river to relax and enjoy the gardens. The house is a 5 minute walk away from the Co-op in one direction and independent shops and cafes in the other. It is close to places to eat and to Talgarth Mill, Triggs Cafe and the Mill garden. There are bus stops to Abergavenny and Brecon nearby. The property is approx 30 minutes by car to the Royal Welsh Show site. Guest access There is parking on Hay Road but please do not park in front of the row of terraced houses (Dan y Garth). There is also a free car park in Talgarth (LD3 0PE) that is a 5 minute walk away. Access to the house is through the front door. There is one low step up to the front door. There is a key safe and access to the house is discussed with the owner. During your stay I will have my phone with me at all times so guests can reach me at any time. Let me know if you need anything during your stay, otherwise I'll leave you to enjoy your stay undisturbed. Other things to note I have a small, friendly, hypoallergenic dog (Cockerpoo) who is excitable when guests arrive but very quickly calms down. She does not have access to the guest bedroom and is kept out of the way. There are steps throughout the house so please take care when walking through the sitting room, stepping down to the bathroom and when accessing the two flights of stairs up to the loft room. The private bathroom is on the first floor. There is space in the lobby for coats and shoes. Please remove outdoor shoes. Guests are requested to vacate the room by 10:30 each day
