This cottage is one of the few fully private accommodations in the city center, with enclosed garden, independent entrance and no cohabitation. Ideal for a private stay, close to shops, the castle, the Grandes Écuries and the forest. Chantilly-Gouvieux train station is within walking distance (15 min), making it easy to arrive without a car. Whether you are passionate about history, art, horseback riding or simply looking for peace and quiet, La Maison du 18 is an elegant and soothing break, close to the treasures of Chantilly. Other things to note Our 3-star rating La Maison du 18 is officially classified as a 3-star furnished tourist accommodation by the Oise Tourist Office. This voluntary ranking is a guarantee of comfort and quality. We chose to prioritize an overall ranking for the entire house (six beds) rather than a 4-star ranking limited to the ground floor and master bedroom. Indeed, the two attic bedrooms actually have 12 m², but the Carrez law only retains 9 m², which does not allow to reach the 4-star level. This classification also has an advantage for our guests: it allows us to charge a reduced tourist tax (€1.70 per night per adult) instead of the €3 previously in force. Our 3-star rating La Maison du 18 is officially rated 3-star furnished tourist accommodation by the Oise Tourist Office, a voluntary guarantee of comfort and quality. We chose a global 3-star rating for the whole house (sleeps six) rather than a 4-star limited to the ground floor and master bedroom. The two attic rooms are 12 m² in reality, but only 9 m² under Carrez law, which excludes them from 4-star criteria. This rating also benefits our guests with a reduced tourist tax (€1.70 instead of €3).
