Nestling at the foot of Muncaster Fell in the western lakes, this charming 3 bedroom cottage is the perfect retreat from the busyness of day to day life. With numerous walks from the door step, it makes an excellent base to explore the beautiful countryside and mountains of the lake district. The space This unique cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 1 double room, 1 single room, 1 twin room, and a zed bed. There is an en-suite shower and toilet with the double room, and a bath and toilet in the main bathroom. Downstairs comprises of a living room with an open fire, with TV and \Dvd player, spacious dinning room with a dining table with 6 chairs. The modern kitchen/dinner supports a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and plenty of cooking equipment, with a small seating area and table. The cottage has it's own terraced garden over looking Eskdale Golf Course, and front patio with table and chairs for your sole use. Golf and Salmon fishing (1 June-30 Sept) are offered to guests at discounted prices. Guest access The whole house and garden with parking for 2 cars is solely for guest use, the immediate surroundings are accessible for guests to explore including a track to and along the river Esk. Other things to note This property is part of a cluster of houses, a few yards away from our other cottage High Eskholme, set half a mile from major and minor roads. the nearest pub/eating places are in Ravenglass, 3 miles away and the nearest shop is a spar shop 5 miles away. Muncaster Castle and The Ratty (narrow gauge railway) are 5/10 min drive away. Try out the 18 hole parkland golf course which the cottage sits next to or sea trout and salmon fishing (1 June-30 Sept) on the banks of the River Esk, a short walk across the golf course.
