Description
Welcome to The Stables, a lovingly converted outbuilding in the heart of Kyneton. Your light and airy space has all the comforts you would expect of boutique accommodation, plus a green outlook. The finest places to eat, drink and shop are all within easy walking distance; enjoy cocktails at Botanik before a 5-star dinner at Midnight Starling, or sample craft beer at the Kyneton Hotel and burgers at Major Tom's. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers. The space The Stables offers a generous open-plan lounge/ kitchenette/ diner with an oversized and very comfortable modular sofa, large-screen TV and additional seating. Please note that this property is a converted studio nestled in the backyard of the main house. It offers a cozy retreat, though, please note, it is in close proximity to the main house. Soak up the stylish aesthetic, flick through a “country style” magazine, and contemplate staying in versus heading out! The Stables is a true country retreat (complete with a resident rooster in the neighbouring property!). For those who love their food and drink, there are too many options to work through in a weekend! For those looking to embrace the great outdoors, there are multiple walking tracks, water holes and picturesque lookouts on your doorstep. Why not try the Campaspe River walk?! Whatever your preference, a piping hot shower and a welcoming queen bed await you at the end of your day. We have provided all of the little luxuries for you to enjoy during your stay at The Stables, and welcome you to our home and a little haven in our thriving country town. A note on the kitchenette - it doesn't have cooking facilities but does house a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. Also of note: the kitchen tap is a sensor tap. Don’t hesitate to ask us should you have difficulties working it! Guest access The Stables sits at the end of our driveway, and is a self-contained space. Adjacent to this is our shared rear garden, which you are also welcome to enjoy - it's a true sun-trap in the warmer weather. We tend to use the rear deck for our own family use but let us know if you would like to use this space during your visit - we are very flexible. Other things to note While we do our very best to keep the noise down, we have three children under 7 years old, and they are not always so mindful. Please remember this is a family home - if you are looking for peace and silence, this is probably not the place for you. That said, they are good sleepers in the evenings! We also have a resident rooster living in the neighbouring property, and while he doesn't bother us at all, we thought it best to declare him. Pets are welcome though, to keep cleaning and fur issues for the next visitors to a minimum, we request that pets who stay are short-haired and/or hypo-allergenic (with respect).
