Just 30 minutes from most parts of Canberra, 40 minutes from Goulburn and Queanbeyan, and within easy reach of Bungendore, Gundaroo, and Gungahlin, you’ll have access to some of the region’s best dining and wedding venues, including Petrichor Farm, Tallegandra Hill Winery, and Grazing Restaurant. We’re also just under two hours to the Snowy Mountains and two and a half hours to the South Coast. The fully renovated farmhouse combines modern comfort with country charm. It features two kitchens, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, three living areas, a bar/study, and an expansive pool bar. The home easily sleeps 13+ guests, making it ideal for large families or two groups staying side by side. Enjoy the swimming pool, tennis court, and bikes, or unwind in the large pool bar—a guest favourite complete with pool table, table tennis, TVs, fridges, BBQ, and a cozy fire. It’s perfect for relaxed gatherings, including family birthdays, tame bucks or hens nights and pre-wedding get-togethers. Our friendly farm animals—horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and our beloved Highland cow, Miss Caroline, love a pat over the fence. Visiting dogs, cats, or even horses are welcome by request. Trawalla is a working property and home to our racehorses. Our friendly family members live on-site (in a separate house) and are always happy to help if needed. We can’t wait to share it with you. Guest access Trawalla is located at 285 Brooks Creek Lane, Gundaroo. Guests will have full access to the main farmhouse, pool area, tennis court, and pool bar. Detailed directions and check-in instructions will be provided prior to arrival to ensure easy access. If you have any trouble finding the property or need assistance on arrival, please don’t hesitate to contact us for specific directions or help with entry. Other things to note Trawalla has hosted many happy guests for family holidays, celebrations, gender reveals, anniversaries, weddings, and relaxed bucks or hens gatherings. We love seeing guests make special memories here and do our best to make each stay easy and enjoyable. We can also offer optional add-ons such as catering, childcare, and event support by prior arrangement—just let us know your needs when booking. Whether you’re planning a quiet escape or a special occasion, Trawalla provides the perfect country setting to relax, celebrate, and reconnect. Please note: our family do live on the farm in separate accommodation and while they are very friendly and patient with noise, only respectful gatherings are welcome.
