Our cabin is 600 sq ft with a large covered porch. We have 1 queen size bed, a double & single bunk combination, and full kitchen. We have 2 sources of heat, propane and electric both which make some noise when they run. 42 acres of Christmas trees, wooded trails, a stream that runs throughout the property, foot bridge and fields. A short 10 min hike will take you to our Ridge with a gazebo. We are 25 min from LU, 15 min from the Lynchburg area and 15 min from the Blue Ridge Pkwy. As a working farm, you may pick a bouquet of fresh flowers from our flower fields (in season) or perhaps a pint of blueberries, raspberries or blackberries from our fruit fields (in season). The road to access our farm is a comfortable walk for miles. You may spot deer or turkey on your hikes or Canadian geese on our 1/2 acre pond where you are able to enjoy fishing for bass or catfish. We have a gazebo for your enjoyment on our ridge, a foot bridge, many swings, and trails, a volleyball net and ball, which you can also use for badminton ( we have rackets and birdies), basketball net and ball and a disc golf course and discs for your use and enjoyment. We also have an A-Frame on the Ridge of our property, that my husband built totally by himself and it is called "Mountain View A-Frame" on Airbnb. It is gorgeous and "off the grid" outdoor living! You will be able to use the entire 600 foot cabin, large covered porch, 3 tire swings, 1 bench swing, foot bridge, acres of hiking throughout the farm, gazebo for those quiet moments on the ridge and fishing pond. For playing there are fields, basketball, volleyball, badminton, disc golf course and trails. Jon and Debbie are willing to give recommendations on adventures in the town of Lynchburg and surrounding areas. We live on a mountain road and the scenery is gorgeous. We do live in the mountains, so cell service is unpredictable, we have Verizon service at the cabin, which works well, all other companies are pretty poor service.
