Unique Barn, Bed & Breakfast

One of the Original Hunt Boxes in Metamora Foxhunting Country, this storybook home is a Bed and Breakfast like no other. Featuring 3 charming antique filled guest rooms, each with a private bath of their own, & beautiful common areas indoors and out, this horse farm/inn will steal your heart - as will the residents who inhabit it: Liberty the Clydesdale, Poncho the donkey, Satchmo the parrot, hosts Janine and Steve, and more. The space The MasterSuite boasts a full double sink bathroom Suite, with a Jacuzzi, as well as its own large screen TV, air conditioner, and lovely antique accommodations. The Yellow Room is equally charming, just smaller, with its own en-suite private bath. And the White Room, which is somewhat larger, is also charming, and includes its own bathrobes, as its private bath is detached. As for the house, the Living Room Dining Room area is wonderfully inviting, and offers a long antique table where guests can dine, play cards, prepare for horse competition, watch movies or just congregate and enjoy. And the SunRoom is especially nice in the morning for a cup of coffee, and where you can frequently watch horses and riders trot by, as well as horse drawn carriages, and the Metamora hounds. Beyond that, feel free to enjoy the deck, complete with flower boxes and wrought iron benches and seating around a wrought iron table ... as well as the grounds, which you can see in advance in the photos. We love people, countryside, animals, and all those who do too ... and have been enjoying guests from around the country for decades. So just know whatever the reason for your stay, you may come as a guest, but you'll leave as a friend. Sincerely, Janine and Steve Guest access Guests are welcome in all the common areas ( LR, DR, Sunroom, the back deck and backyard, and welcome to tour the barn (with one of your hosts) and feed treats to the Clydesdale and the Donkey. Guests also have access to music and television and sofas and internet, and seating in all common areas ... and are welcome to play outside with the dogs and talk to the parrot in his aviary ... or keep clean, on the deck, and on the west side of the property...which is equally charming, with benches for enjoying the outdoors, and easy access to the driveway, the carport, and the entrance. During your stay Guests are welcome to enjoy all common areas. inside and out: the LR, DR, TV's, Alexa, Internet, the deck, the beautiful grounds, including the outdoor tables and chairs, the grill, even the barn including the horses, the dogs, the kitties, the parrot and the donkey... who Janine and Steve will be happy to introduce you to. Do know though that the refrigeratorwill be full of breakfast foods and goodies for your group... so there won't be much room there for anything else. That said, feel free to bring a cooler, or we can provide one, if you'd like to keep anything you brought along cold ... or cook anything on the grill. And if you brought things you'd like warmed up, just ask for assistance, and we will be happy to do that for you. We also request that you provide an estimated time of arrival, using the messaging app , when you book your stay... so we're sure to be here to show you around when you arrive ( not out riding a horse, running errands, or out to dinner). And if it looks like you're going to be at all delayed ( which happens ), please call or text to confirm a new arrival time.
