The space The Pine Cone cottage is a completely remodeled 1940s summer cabin with galley-style kitchen, open living area, 2 bedrooms and a single bathroom. At just around 800 square feet, you’ll see we have packed a lot of amenities into a relatively small space. We have updated the original structure from top to bottom and added our own touches to the interior and exterior. Keeping the original floor plan was a must and we also retained some of the details that make this property special. You’ll see the pine paneling and ceilings are vintage aspects that have been retained. We plan to add more outdoor space in 2026 and expand the water frontage for guests to enjoy. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all of the cottage amenities. The living room has a large flat screen television and fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s counter space, a fold down table and coffee bar. Each bedroom has extra bedding and blankets as well as a dressing area with storage and space for hanging clothes. The large bathroom has a tub/shower combo to accommodate small children as well as a stacked washer and dryer for laundry. Enjoy the deck with gas firepit, grill and outdoor dining set or sit by the water during the evening and use the kayaks to explore Kinross Lake. We also offer a large concrete parking area for 2 vehicles. The cabin is equipped with a 30 amp RV plug and water hook up for a camper ($25.00 per day extra). We ask that if you plan to have a camper onsite, you provide us with notice so we can assist with location and set up. *Please see other details to note regarding limited WiFI accessibility/service.
