Charming log cabin in Glasriket

Welcome to our cozy log cabin, located in the heart of the scenic Glasriket. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Småland's landscape, with proximity to both Kalmar and Nybro. The cabin is located on a farm with nice surroundings and many lovely forest roads to explore. Perfect for walks, bike rides or just to relax and enjoy nature. On the farm, there are cats, rabbits and chickens. Sometimes even horses and sheep. The space Our log cabin offers a perfect combination of rustic charm and modern amenities. The cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen and a fresh toilet. There is a double bed and the possibility of several sleeping mattresses upstairs. There is no shower, but there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and outdoor life in the area. In winter, it can be good to have an extra pair of socks on your feet, as it can be a bit chilly. But there are plenty of warm blankets, a radiator and heat by the fireplace. We usually turn off the upstairs to keep the heat in the cabin. Located in the heart of Småland, our house is an ideal base for discovering all that the region has to offer. In summer, the whole of Småland is transformed into a fantastic destination with its lakes, forests and picturesque villages. The nearest lakes are in Kristvallabrunn, Alsterbro, Flerohopp. The sea is available in Kalmar and Öland. Cleaning is not included. Towels and bed linens are not included but can be rented. Tips for excursions: Kalmar, one of Sweden's most historic cities, is only a short drive away. The city is known for its impressive Kalmar Castle, which has played a central role in Sweden's history. Stroll along the charming cobblestone streets, visit the many museums and enjoy the beautiful architecture. Kalmar also offers proximity to Öland, an island known for its beautiful beaches and unique nature. Nybro, another nearby town, is known for its glassworks and scenic surroundings. Here you can visit Glasriket's Elk Park, where you can get close to elk and other animals. Nybro also offers several museums and historical sites, such as the James Bond 007 Museum and Madesjö Hembygdsmuseum. Öland, just a short trip from Kalmar, is an island full of sights and scenic places. Visit Borgholm Castle, an impressive ruin with a rich history. Explore the many windmills, hike in the Trollskogen or enjoy the view from the Långe Jan lighthouse. Öland is also famous for its beautiful beaches and unique landscapes, making it a perfect destination for the whole family. Guest access We also live on the farm.
